Empathy and Expertise Supporting you through your Journey
Our Story, Mission, and Core Values
Counselling with Cancer was established to fill the vital need for emotional care tailored to the unique challenges faced by cancer patients and their families. We believe every person deserves compassionate support, a safe space to share their fears and hopes, and have expert guidance to nurture mental and emotional well-being throughout cancer’s impact.
A cancer diagnosis is a distressing life experience whilst living with cancer as well as your treatments, will bring a variety of challenges to anyone affected. The ripple effect is huge, running through family, friends and your wider community
You do not have to look far to find a cancer diagnosis, it is estimated one in two of us will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lives. Despite this, a cancer diagnosis is often unexpected, life-changing, and understandably traumatic.
What are my values: For my clients to have a much happier life, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and that no-one should face cancer alone.

As a specialist cancer counsellor, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the transformative impact therapy can have on individuals navigating cancer treatment
I am a highly trained counsellor from MacMillan Cancer support, with extensive experience supporting clients and their families through this extremely delicate and difficult time.
However, it’s not always easy to express your needs, fears, and concerns to others.
As a counsellor I can help you develop communication skills to help navigate difficult conversations, and establish boundaries to ensure that your emotional needs are met and your voice is heard throughout your treatment journey.
There is no universal reaction to a cancer diagnosis and it’s the one word we dread.
